MULTIPLYING EFFICIENCY

Santa was running a business single handed and earned popularity for his efficiency. His friend Banta observed santa busy always as the business thrived. Day by day Santa became so busy he could hardly get time for doing daily routine.
One day Banta came to him and said,
"Santaji! You need an assistant to help you in business. I strongly recommend Joker Pande. He is as efficient as you are and I assure that your popularity will continue to be high."
Santa: Thank you Bantaji. But please remember that unfortunately efficiency always multiplies.
Banta: I don't understand. Say fortunately efficiency multiplies.
Santa: Bantaji! I mean what I said. See! A person's efficiency quotient can never be more than one. In fact it is always below one. If I am said to be highly efficient his efficiency quotient will be around 0.9. As a one man firm, my firm's efficiency will also be 0.9. If I hire another man equally efficient then the firm's efficiency will be the product of our individual efficiency. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IF YOU MULTIPLY ONE FRACTION WITH ANOTHER THE PRODUCT WILL ALWAYS BE LESS THAN INDIVIDUAL FRACTIONS. So please allow me to run my firm at higher level of efficiency.
Banta: OK! OK! You could have easily said no to my proposal. !!!!!!!!
